JAWS-JAWS is a screen reader for Windows and stands for "Job Access With Speech". It can read out and provide Braille access for websites, emails, apps, and documents. It is also multi-lingual, making it beneficial not only for students who may be visually impaired or have trouble reading, but also for English language learners. JAWS includes voice synthesizers for an astounding 30 languages. Although JAWS does cost money, the company offers specific licensing for schools. If the program were purchased by the school it would be an invaluable aid to visually impaired students and ELLs.

Roger Pen-The Roger Pen is an audio connectivity device that looks like a pen and is designed to assist the hard of hearing. It connects wirelessly to the user's hearing aid and has many functions. It can function as a directional microphone, enhancing the sound of whatever it is pointing at and relaying it directly to the hearing aid of the user. In a classroom setting, this is tremendously helpful. A student may face it toward the teacher during a lesson or have a closer student hold it for them. During small group discussions, the use simply has to place the device on the table. The Roger Pen also connects directly to other devices like smartphones and computers, which make it ideal for listening to multimedia. It discreet appearance and portability also make it convenient to use, not presenting any burden to the class environment or excess embarrassment for the student.
